ABOUT US When it comes to massage therapy, there are many types to choose from. Many therapists combine techniques. What really counts is the level of competence and the years of experience they bring to the table. Clare is a Nationally Certified Sports and Therapeutic Massage Therapist. She has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 1990 and a member of the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners since 1995. She attended the Center of Touchstone Therapy in New Jersey in 1988 and has studied with many noted practitioners in her field. She has been certified by the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Consumer Affairs, certification number 26BT00025900. Clare served as Coordinator of the New Jersey Sports Massage Team for three years, volunteering for events including the New York Marathon, the Boston Marathon, the 1994 World Cup Soccer Tournament and the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She is a member of the South Brunswick Chamber of Commerce. In addition to Clare's work with the Olympic Athletes, Clare was accredited for her creative and motivational programs as a basic skills instructor in the Bridgewater-Raritan School District for eleven years. Clare has taken additional massage courses for infants and children with disabilities. She has volunteered for Special Olympics and Para Olympics in the past and currently uses her skills with Adults with Autism and children with Spina Bifida. Her style of massage is an integrated approach drawn from various techniques such as Swedish massage, Reflexology, Sports techniques, Trigger Point therapy and Russian massage. Clare is an adjunct instructor for Health Choices Institute, a massage school in Hillsborough, NJ. She is an instructor for basic and advanced classes in sports massage. Presently, she serves as a NJ State Representative to the AMTA National Conference. Massage therapy is not just her profession, but a way to a healthier lifestyle for you.
